Here’s how you can do it too: 🌿 Stay longer = Save more — Monthly rentals are much cheaper than hopping between hotels or hostels. 💻 Remote work is the real game-changer — If your job allows WFH, start by asking for 1 month. You don’t need to quit. 🌱 Off-season = peace + better rates — Avoid the April-May or Oct crowds. Off-season = more connection with locals, nature, and yourself. ☁️ Have a backup for Wi-Fi — Most homestays have stable broadband, but a Jio dongle or local SIM can save the day. 🤝 Build a local support system — From chai tapris to your landlord, people here are warm.
