Dry roast makhana, pumpkin seeds, and garlic until lightly golden. 2. Add roasted mix to a pot with masoor dal, bottle gourd, salt, and water. 3. Boil everything until the dal and bottle gourd are soft. 4. Let it cool, then blend into a smooth puree. 5. Pour back into the pot, simmer for a few minutes. 6. Add pepper and jeera powder. 7.
