Fun fact, and one that I’m definitely not proud of: I had to move an entire ocean away to realize that home/Indian food was one of my favourite cuisines, if not my most favourite. Growing up, my ma used to pack my school lunch boxes with puranpolis and other Maharashtrian snack foods that other kids would find “weird,” resulting in me becoming ashamed of eating them at school. But after living in the states for close to six years, I realized how much I missed those days where I could take a packed lunch to school filled with all the scrumptious snacks I once used to love! 🤤 Now I don’t care anymore and eat all the Indian food I see 👀 What’s an ethnic food you used to love eating while growing up? 🥘
