His residence on Sukea Street continues to hold a legacy far older, the family’s Durga Puja, which began 239 years ago. Prabir Sreemany, the 7th generation descendant, shared with us memories of rituals that once filled the house with grandeur. Some have faded over the years due to lack of manpower and resources, but the heart of the celebration remains.
