Once the grand Diwan-e-Aam of Jaipur’s City Palace, Sabha Niwas witnessed centuries of royal audiences, ministerial discussions, and visits from dignitaries. This opulent hall has now been restored to its original splendour reviving gilded floral frescoes, hand-carved marble columns, and a 600kg Bohemian crystal chandelier that was restored piece by piece. Sabha Niwas now serves as a gallery of Jaipur’s princely past, displaying heirlooms, paintings and court artefacts. #jaipur #citypalacejaipur
