It was a day seven or eight years ago when my friends and I were near Fort High School during the Ramanavami Utsava. We were thrilled to see TM Krishna’s concert on the schedule. Even though I hadn’t heard him live before, I was very excited and happy this time. Surprisingly, my sister, who usually hates music, got interested after hearing us talk about TM Krishna. Even though she usually gets a fever from listening to music (literally high fever, not joking), she felt his music was therapeutic. She started exploring his music and through her even we got to hear his renditions. We listen to TM Krishna’s music every single day and never go on a drive without it. I attended his very first workshop in Mysore, followed by his concert in the evening. Since that day, no matter how tough things got, we found his music to be a therapy for us, always helping us to relax. We would travel anywhere to watch him perform live. I can’t forget the first time he recognized us and waved a big HI at us in Chennai when we met him in a restaurant where he was walking around and singing while all of us ate the meal. The way my sister and I screamed for his hi and my friend screwed us for shouting and scaring people. 😂😂 His music has made us cry and brought us happiness. We always have a continuous smile on our faces throughout his concert. I remember the time he started singing ‘Rangapura Vihara’ at a concert in Mysore; tears just kept rolling down my eyes. The best version I have ever heard❤️ His Bhairavi Swarajathi, Thodi, Reetigowla, Kharaharapriya, kalyani,Varali,Kaapi, Sindhubhairavi, and many more pieces resonate deeply with us. I always call him God. He is the GOD of music to us. He has always been a treasure of art to us. I can’t express in words how happy we are. 🙏🏽 We @sukruthacagathi will never forgive ourselves if we miss any of his concerts, whether due to being unaware of the schedule or because of unavoidable circumstances. We eagerly anticipate traveling more to watch him perform live. This is truly one of the best gifts life has given us. 🙏🏽☺️ We can’t wait for your next concert! ☺️ @tmkrishnaofficial 🙏🏽 #tmkrishna #godofmusic #sangitakalanidhi
