Rayaru is the person I talk to the most. During my childhood summer holidays, my family and I always participated in “PaadayAtre” with Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertharu, the seer of Pejawara MaTha. We walked from various places such as Udupi to Pajakakshetra, Udupi to Kodachadri, and Haridhwara to Badari to name a few. In 2004, we walked from Mantralaya to Malakheda. As we were used to the heat in Udupi, the rise in temperature did not affect us. On the day we had to start the PaadayAtre, while taking a bath in Tunga, I heard someone sing this song, and I joined along. I do not remember who taught me the song or where I learned it from. For years after the PaadayAtre, I tried to remember the lyrics, but I could only hum the tune. Recently, during my visit to Mantralaya, I remembered the song again. Out of all the places I have visited in the world, Mantralaya is my favorite. I hope you enjoy my rendition of the song. Would really appreciate if you can subscribe to my YouTube channel too.
