I’m not going to lie - organising the @puneforestfestival and being able to invite all the lovely guests and showcase @pass.crossingforests in front of so many people who matter so much to me, has to be one of my favourite things I’ve done in life. Pass, was a film that saw many challenges, delays and changes time and again, it saw multiple actors and drafts and shoots to make it work, where I learnt and grew with the project to be able to present it the way it turned out today. I had to do justice to the work, effort and time of everyone who put their love, support, and faith into the project. There were no two ways about it. I did not want to forget it and I did not want to shelve it and move on. It has now become something I am proud of. 🧿 and something that is very close to the original vision. I saw the covid pandemic, lack of funds, change of hosts, conflicts, personal issues, loss, change of laws, construction of more roads and highways and so many other things over the last 5 years. I don’t think I was fully ready for the project and all that came with it but now I am so happy that I reached a place of confidence where I was sure enough to pursue and finish it. Working in this industry is an unforgiving job sometimes and nothing really moves forward till you get it together and put your everything into a project to make it reach the finish line. And it has been nothing but a complicated jigsaw puzzle to make sure this project saw the light of day. But I am glad it did. Thank you to @snehashahii, @aayush_gaur7 and @sanjay_wildlifer for always pushing me to figure things out and finish it. Thank you to the guests, volunteers and speakers of the #PuneForestFestival for letting the film be the only thing I worried about on the day. (I will write another detailed post about that). All in all, this has been a wonderful journey and I can’t wait for all of you to watch the film and to help us talk about - and do something about the issue of linear intrusions and wildlife roadkill through our impact campaign! 🐅 @pass.crossingforests | @wildlife.roadkills #BrakeForWildlife
