
Over the last month (July) we conducted our first leg of the #Tide2Table campaign in Tamil Nadu using the @inseasonfish calendar as our supporting material to talk to the different stakeholders directly and indirectly related to the seafood sector. Sustainable seasonal conscious consumption is the way forward to reduce the burden on the depleting fish stocks in our oceans while continuing to provide a livelihood to the already struggling and vulnerable fishing communities in the country. The campaign aims to take the conversation offline to the grassroots while involving responsible citizens to be involved in creating long term impact, collect data and bring these conversations to the forefront of our collective awareness and consideration.
