It takes a lot of time to gather my thoughts and I took more than usual time to write my review..... this book hits differently, it will always be closed to my heart. This book resonates with me in a lot of ways, I was touched by each page and the emotions author experienced reminds me some of my own journeys. This is the journey that some of us destined without any pretext and without any help we have to conquer all the obstacles, the poignant depths of the feeling, the helplessness, it was a lot to absorb. Domestic Detention is true story of a son who went to search his missing mother. No it's not like other missing stories, his mother was deliberately captured, kept secluded in a pathetic condition that nobody can imagine, but I can feel the pain of her son's. In this gripping true story, after his mother's telephone numbers and addresses kept constantly changing before she suddenly disappeared, her son was convince that there was more to the story, and took it upon himself to leave St. Vincent and the Grenadines and journey to the United States in search of her, and found her paralyzed from below her waist, trapped in a home with her Malignant Narcissistic husband, and their four-year-old daugher who was her only aid in a house thousands of miles away from where it all began. This book is horrifying saga, culmination of tremendous courage and determination of a son will give you a jolt and make your limbs numb, it's not fear, it's the unknowing alarm of agitation, a terrifying experience unfolded seamlessly with scintillating narrative and uncomplicated words choice makes it stand out, it is hunting and motivating at the same time. A crock, a narcissist can be anyone in your life, we never know who is the wolf behind the human mask, you can't take precautions but anyone can encounter a narcissistic person, and definitely you can get courage to identify and fight with the situations, this is a must read book for everyone. Everything that you know is not the end of the story of a person, what is your opinion? Much more things happened behind the scenes, right? #Theladylivesinbook #DomesticDetention #Truestory👊 #Fightback #Narcissist #Lifestorys
