The Ornate Sheep Tick - Meet Dermacentor marginatus, otherwise known as the ornate sheep tick. This species is found throughout much of continental Europe and central Asia in open forests and meadows. As its name suggests, sheep 🐑 are one of its favourite hosts though it will also infeste deer 🦌, wolves wolf 🐺, dogs 🐕, goats 🐐  and even hedgehogs 🦔!
