Children don’t need constant entertainment. What they truly want is inclusion. When you fold clothes, give them a few socks to match. While cooking, let them wash vegetables or stir (safely). If you’re cleaning, hand them a small cloth and a “job.” Talking on the phone? Tell them who you’re speaking to and why. Even daily routines feel meaningful when children feel part of it, not pushed aside.
