A 19-year-old student of Government Degree College, Dharamsala, has died after allegedly facing ragging, physical assault and sexual misconduct. Himachal Pradesh Police have registered a case against a college professor and three women students. The victim, Pallavi, was a second-year student. Her father alleged that on September 18 last year, three students intimidated and assaulted her, while a professor subjected her to obscene acts. Following the alleged harassment, Pallavi’s mental and physical health deteriorated.
