Hair fall and hair breakage are not the same thing. If hair is falling from the root, the problem is usually deeper — things like stress, iron, vitamin D, hormones, or genetics can play a role. That’s where scalp-focused treatments matter more. If hair is snapping from the middle or ends, that’s breakage. And that usually needs better haircare on the lengths — gentle shampoo, conditioner, masks, less heat, less dryness. Also, shampoo does not cause hair fall. It only washes away strands that were already loose. And oiling can help with dryness, but it does not grow new hair. So before blaming one product, first figure out what problem you’re actually solving.
