Karmanghat Hanuman Temple is one of Hyderabad’s oldest and most powerful temples, built in the 12th century by the Kakatiya kings. Located in Karmanghat near Champapet, close to the Inner Ring Road and just a few minutes from 📍LB Nagar, the temple is famous for its legendary history — when Aurangzeb’s soldiers tried to demolish it, a divine voice warned them to “Karo mann ghat,” which is how the place got its name. The main deity here is Dhyana Anjaneya Swamy, a calm and meditative form of Hanuman, and the temple complex also includes shrines for Lord Shiva, Rama, Durga, Saraswati, Venugopala, and the Navagrahas. Spread across a spacious 3-acre area, the temple is known for its peaceful ambiance, ancient stone architecture, and sacred pond. It is most crowded on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and during Hanuman Jayanti, and remains one of Hyderabad’s top spiritual spots for devotees seeking strength, protection, and blessings. @hyderabadlocals Karmanghat, Hanuman, Hyderabad
