Visited Kerala Kitchen by Tanatan, Juhu recently and honestly, it turned out to be one of those places where you end up spending much longer than planned because the vibe is just so lovely. The ambience strikes the perfect balance—warm, elegant and relaxed. The earthy decor, soft lighting and subtle Kerala-inspired touches like the hanging bells & wooden furniture… make it feel cozy yet special, whether you’re out for a family dinner or catching up with friends over drinks. We started with the Chicken 65, which was juicy, flavourful and had just the right amount of spice. But the star of the evening for me was definitely the Meen Pollichattu. The fish was beautifully cooked, wrapped in aromatic masala and bursting with flavour in every bite. Paired with the soft, delicate Neer Dosa, it was comfort food at its best. Their signature cocktails deserve a special mention too. I absolutely loved the Kokum Picante—refreshing, tangy with a hint of spice and unlike anything I’ve tried recently. And of course, no Kerala meal is complete without dessert. The Coconut Mousse was light, creamy and subtly sweet, while the Payassam felt like a warm hug in a bowl—traditional, comforting and the perfect way to end the meal. What I loved most was how effortless the whole experience felt. Great food, attentive service and an atmosphere that makes you want to come back again. Definitely a place I’d recommend for a relaxed evening with your favourite people. ❤️ @keralakitchenbytanatann @amit_pal29 @preetie.joshi
