💫 When tradition drapes you, it tells a story. This National Handloom Day, at Dharohar 3.0 2025 with @wicci_arts Leadership Council, I celebrated not just threads, but the hands that weave dreams into them. 🌸 I wore the breezy elegance of a Begumpuri saree from @nakshaghar by @pousomee96ray — a handloom gem from Begumpur in Hooghly, West Bengal. Woven on traditional pit looms since the Mughal era, these airy cotton sarees once graced the wardrobes of zamindars and aristocrats. Known for their vibrant contrasts, extra-weft motifs, and minimalist borders, they carry centuries of craftsmanship in every drape. 🪡✨ From plates 🍲 to places 🌏 and now to paars (threads) of heritage, Konizfoodwheels continues a journey that’s as much about taste as it is about tradition. Here’s to keeping our looms alive, our weavers empowered, and our stories worn with pride. 💖 Thank you @paromita.candid di and @candidbyparomita for the opportunity. #Konizfoodwheels #NationalHandloomDay #BegumpuriSaree #BengalWeaves #HandloomLove #EatTravelWeave #SupportHandloom #WICCIArts #Nakshaghar
