One Pot Series | Ep. 1 🤍 Chole Masala — pressure cooker version. Ghar pe restaurant-style chole banana ho… this one-pot recipe is all you need 👀 (Secret for that dark colour? Don’t skip the chai water ☕️) 📝 INGREDIENTS: • 1 cup chole (soaked overnight) • 2 tbsp oil • 1 tsp jeera • 1 tej patta • Pinch of hing • 2 medium onions (finely chopped) • 2 tomatoes (pureed/chopped) • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste • 1 tsp haldi • 1 tsp red chilli powder • 1 tsp dhania powder • 1–2 tsp chole masala • Salt to taste • 2–2.5 cups water • 1/2 cup strong tea water ☕️ • 1 tsp kasuri methi • 1 tbsp butter 👩‍🍳 METHOD (Pressure Cooker): Cooker me oil garam karo. Add jeera, tej patta & hing. Add onions, cook till golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste, sauté for a minute. Add tomatoes, cook till oil separates. Add all spices & mix well. Add soaked chole + tea water + normal water, mix. Close lid & cook for 5–6 whistles (medium flame). Let pressure release, open & simmer for 5 mins if needed. Finish with kasuri methi & butter. 🤍 One pot. That perfect colour.
