Every night when I say “It’s late, we have to sleep,” Viara starts crying. Not because she doesn’t want to sleep… but because our night routine is something they actually wait for. Today my mom said, “Come eat, let them play,” and I said, “No mom… I’ll put them to sleep and come.” Some things are just non-negotiable for us. They picked 7 books , journal and 1 game, and still we ended up doing an activity book at 9 pm. … I played relaxing music, we cuddled, and that’s how our night ended. With “I love you, Viara… I love you, Vion…” And a big “I love you mamma.” I’m just sharing something simple today. Because when I was small, bedtime was always “so jao warna gungayya aa jayega.” I used to sleep with fear. No validation. No calm. So I try to give them the opposite. And honestly… today’s post is raw. Not edited. Not polished. If this was 2015, I would post only like this. But now everything is so polished that sometimes I feel I miss myself. So today… I’m just posting the real moment. Tell me… do you like raw content or polished?
