Sangla’s Holi isn’t just about colours for me , it feels like stepping into a living story. 🌸🔥 For 3–4 days in the heart of Kinnaur, I saw traditions come alive through powerful characters and deep symbolism. The white-haired Baba representing Vaishnav devotion and the black-haired Baba representing Shaiv faith remind me how beautifully different paths can coexist. 🤍🖤 The King holding a sword in one hand 🗡️ symbolises strength and expansion, while the cloth in the other 🤍 represents peace and compromise. Watching the symbolic battles transform into friendship and unity truly moves me every time. And at the centre of it all is Hanuman Ji 🐒🙏 believed to be the only living deity of Kalyug. The discipline, order, and sanctity of the entire celebration feel protected under his divine presence. What makes it even more special is how everything concludes with Himachal’s biggest DJ celebration 🎶✨ where villagers and all the characters dance together as one. Public spaces are respected, celebrations are disciplined, and joy is shared with safety and mutual respect. For me, this isn’t just Holi. It’s culture. It’s belief. It’s legacy. 💛
