Take a look at the beautiful Bidri handcraft crafted in the city since the 16th century – now officially given the GI tag! This art is a Pride of Karnataka. This handcraft is Moulded using zinc and copper. To give a shape, you can get shape like elephant, horse, peacock. After that, a good artwork is done and it is filled with silver. Then, the soil found in the Bidar fort is boiled well. Once this metal is dipped in this Soil, the zinc part will turn completely black. But the place designed in silver will remain the same.
