Discover Philadelphia Episode 5 - 4th of July celebration and a history lesson. I ticked off a bucket list item that was soaking in the vibes of Independence Day in Philadelphia - where the nation was born. Next year is the 250th year of American Independence so Philadelphia will have a whole year of events to celebrate. The Independence Day Parade was full of excitement and some brilliant shows and performers. The passion and the preparation for this commendable. The Museum of the American Revolution took me back to 1700s and history was alive in all the documents and artifacts. I also met Betsy Ross stitching the first American flag. The actor was so kind and kept answering all our questions. The Independence Hall is not to be missed since the Declaration of Independence was signed right there.
