There’s something about the Countryside of Philadelphia that makes time slow down! This is America’s Garden Capital and the Mushroom Capital of the World, and I had to explore it all. I loved the Winterthur Museum & Gardens, with each object handpicked by Henry Francis du Pont himself. Then the European elegance at Nemours Estate—think Versailles but in the US. And the iconic Longwood Gardens which is a floral daydream. I stayed at Hotel Indigo West Chester in a beautiful neighborhood and walked across the town filled with culture and stories. This wasn’t just sightseeing—it felt like stepping into another pace of life. Highly recommend carving out time for the Countryside of Philadelphia.
