This cake takes my heart away - It's a masterpiece which got me 1st and Gold award 🏆 in Wedding Cakes category at India's largest cake event @cakeology_fest ❤️ I picked up a Renaissance theme in which the edible hand paintings done were the actual paintings of various famous artists like Van Gogh's starry night, Princess Eugine and the ladies in waiting etc. Every single edible painting done is a result of sweat and toil and every tier has got a lot of minute techniques on it. 🥰 I even created two new technologies which have been never done before on a cake. I worked with wafer paper on wafer paper technique with which I did a small green spacer which became the talk of the town amongst the top bakers of the country. I tried to create a replica of a French window of a cathedral in Rome with Pastillage. I will share the techniques done on every tier in depth in the coming posts.
