My birthday is in two days but my heart feels too heavy to even think about celebrating. Ever since the Supreme Court’s verdict on street dogs, I can feel a mountain on my chest. Nights have been sleepless… I just lie there, staring at the ceiling, and thinking about how those little hearts are going to feel when they are thrown in those pounds! Even opening Instagram has become hard. Every post, every picture, every comment about this lingers in my head long after I’ve put my phone down. It’s exhausting. It’s heartbreaking. Yet… a tiny part of me refuses to give up. I still want to believe that kindness will find its way back into this world. That we’ll speak louder, love harder, and protect those who can’t protect themselves. Let’s hope this Independence Day is for everyone, from humans to the voiceless ❤️ #delhistreetdogs #savedelhidogs
