Free to visit, you just pay for parking. I saw alligators, birds, and so much wildlife. Such a peaceful nature break. Fort Myers Beach is vibrant and fun, especially on Saturdays with the market at Times Square. It gets busy, so park once and hop on the Lee County tram. For something quieter, Bowditch Beach is nearby and beautiful. Sanibel Island is another favorite with gorgeous beaches and amazing shelling. Parking is the only fee. The food scene is incredible wherever you go, but @salty.papas.shrimp.house and @masonslobster were standouts.
