Not your aesthetic Instagram carousel Not my fruitful May What I learned in the last two months: a) 24 hours pass by like 24 minutes. And two months pass by like two days. b) the less you sleep, the more you hallucinate. The less you eat, the less hungry you get. The less you speak, the more patient you become. And the more you focus, the scarier you become. c) Being a designer is not romantic when you’re fighting to build beauty from scarcity. Not in this time, age & economy. d) there’s no point chasing algorithms, trends and deadlines. What happens, happens the way it wants to happen, even if you rub the life out of you. e) Hardwork alone does nothing. There does exist this disgusting thing called ‘luck’ that unfairly only sides with the ones it likes. f) you don’t have to smile and ‘be positive’ through harsh realities. You should be allowed to be mad, curse and let it out so that you can think about what your realistic next step should be. g) Self-reflection is an act of clarity. It helps you grow, evolve, and take responsibility. Self-sabotage and self-gaslighting, are silent acts of violence against your own becoming. Know the difference.
