Rivers are the lifeline of civilizations and they also offer a plethora of water based sports and recreational opportunities for tourism. For example the Cauvery River in Karnataka enveloped in scenic beauty and providing a thriving wildlife habitat. As a passionate traveler I am always enchanted by rivers and meticulously research the places I visit. Lately, I have been engrossed in captivating stories of rivers in India which I listen to on 92.7 BIGFM Jal Yatra, a remarkable initiative by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, designed to educate people about India’s river stories, myths and knowledge. Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’s heart warming initiative truly impresses me. Tune into BIG FM @bigfmindia and listen to the glorious stories of these rivers being narrated by Annu Kapoor…..
