This comprises of weekly parties, picnics, day trips, international trips, etc. 2️⃣ Student ID card benefits- a. ISIC app- Majority colleges in France give you an ISIC identity card, which can also be integrated in your phone via an app. This app gives you several reductions- Disneyland, Amazon, Bus services, Shoes, Food, Clothing, etc. b. Student discount at eateries- Major eateries like Subway, Burger King, and a lot of local chain restaurants provide special discounts to students upon the display of a student card. You can easily save 1-3 euros per meal purchased, or avail a free dessert/drink. Always check with the restaurant. You never know, you might get a good deal! 3️⃣ Student friendly meals- a. 3.30€ Crous meals- As a student you can get a 3 course meal from Crous canteens upon display of your ISIC card. b. NGOs for students- Agorae, Les Resto du Cœur, and Linkiofficiel are some of the NGOs that provide groceries for free, or at extremely minimum rate to students. The criteria to avail a membership at each of these organisations is different. 4️⃣ Cheaper local travelling- Every city has its own system of transportation. It’s always a cheaper option to buy a monthly pass, as every mode of transportation in a given city/town uses the same system. However, depending on your age or your status, you’re entitled to preferential rates (up to half prices). 5️⃣ Museum & Monuments- Students under the age of 26 benefit from free entry in a lot of museums including Le Louvre, Mont-Saint-Michel, Musée D’Orsay, etc. 6️⃣ SNCF Carte Jeune Avantage- Anyone under 26 can travel within France with up to 30% discount after purchasing this card. 7️⃣Unidays & Boutiques- Around the beginning of school year, various tech websites, and clothing shops give student discounts to set you up for the academic year. . #studentdiscounts #studentliving #studentlifestyle
