The city logged nearly 200 days with an AQI below 200, including 79 in the “good” or “satisfactory” categories, and only eight “severe” pollution days, the lowest in recent years. Officials credited the improvement to sustained, science-led interventions targeting vehicle emissions, dust control, industrial pollution and waste management, resulting in a 15 % improvement compared with recent years
