Happy Diwali, Diwali photo dump of the beautiful pictures clicked by tall A; last night’s dump were the ones clicked by baby A. Hope you had a wonderful and joyous celebration. Around 4 times a year, Tall A gets his DSLR out and his favourite and only muse is me. And I happily oblige. Long back, for a very short period of time, for around a few months; the position had gone to baby A but he soon resigned, as soon as he could wiggle out of the frame. And now staunchly refuses to even dress up for festivals, let alone pose. So the muse position has come back to me again. This year, Diwali was new for us, as we have a new member at home. We went small on the decorations as Muffin really isn’t pro decorations. I was glad that my Rangoli survived a few hours at least. But this was also the first year we actually realised how traumatising the noise is for pets. We knew it, but empathy is way different than actually living a situation. Muffin was scared the whole evening and didn’t want to leave our laps. We took turns to do our Laxmi Ganesh puja. I wore the saree for hardly half an hour before changing back so that I could hold him and soothe him. It felt just like when we had Baby A as an infant, everything depended on the small being. We also cancelled our plans to go to the Kali pujo pandal at night as leaving him home alone did not seem like a good idea at all. Anyway, he is doing fine today morning although I would like the chance to go hide under the bed and sleep the day off today. So tired rn, the day after Diwali is the painful one. The exhaustion of the entire Diwali shenanigans going on for the past two weeks really takes its toll the day after Diwali.
