What is wrong with this society? Why is it still so difficult to let girls live freely? Why do expectations, restrictions and endless sacrifices still become a part of so many girls lives? We are born to fly, not to feel trapped in cages created by society. If someone was struggling that much, why did no one try to make her feel heard, understood and supported? If she was on the wrong path, why did no one try to stop her? Why was she feeling trapped? Why is it always girls who have to suffer in silence? How long will this go on? Why is the marriage system in India still so broken? Five months into a marriage and a life is gone. It leaves so many painful questions in my mind. If someone is struggling so much inside, why do we often fail to see it? Why do people around them sometimes miss the signs, the pain, the silent cries for help? Why do so many girls end up feeling trapped between expectations, responsibilities and pressure? Why is there still this mindset in many homes where a daughter in law is expected to adjust endlessly, prove herself endlessly and carry everything silently? Until when will all this continue? We talk so much about equality and freedom, but in many homes old thinking still survives behind closed doors. Marriage should never feel like losing yourself. A girl is not brought into a family to become a machine for duties or someone who simply keeps sacrificing herself. Every girl deserves respect, understanding, peace and the freedom to be herself. #TwishaSharmaCase #JusticeForTwisha #justicefortwishasharma #StopHarassment #GirlsDeserveFreedom SpeakUp NoMoreSilence AakhirKabTak LetGirlsLive BreakTheChains WomenDeserveRespect BornToFly HearHerVoice
