The Diwali videos you all didn’t see… My most emotional one — my Beena mausi & mausaji. The saree I wore during my Bigg Boss entry… that was chosen and gifted by them, with so much love. I can write a whole book on Beena mausi. Everyone in Gwalior knows I’m her daughter. She would drive all the way to take me to Ram Dwara, teach me how to make the bati on Bhai Dooj, teach me Khatu Shyam ji ke bhajan, Amritvani, Basoda ki pooja, Gauri–Gangaur ke geet… Every mantra, every bhajan in my life — she taught me. She celebrated my birth every single day. She would bring me food saying, “Gusse mein khana nahi chhodte… mausaji-mausi hai na, hum laa denge jo chahiye.” And Mausaji… The man who, while doing Giriraj ji ki parikrama at night, left everything and came to Chandigarh to pick me up when I called him crying: “Mausaji, mujhe nahi ho raha… mujhe ghar aana hai.” Every day I pray: Next janam mein, I want to be your daughter again. And then there is Arjun — I don’t want to meet you, I am still very angry at you 😤 Because whenever someone said anything hurtful to me,I would feel arjun hota toh nahi bol paate . I remembered Arjun and his entire gang. My “younger brother” who always protected me like an elder one. He would say, “Tanya di, main hoon na… tension kyun leti ho.” When I said no one wants to be my friend, he would reply, “Main aur Poorvi toh hain… hamare saath movie chalo, cafe chalo.” Poorvi, yes, ab main bhi sourdough bread khaungi 😂 Do you remember your grah pravesh? You and Arjun were on the way and it took me 6 hours to decorate the whole house — each flower placed with my own hands. I was genuinely happiest when you joined our family. Next janam, Ramji… bas iss parivaar mein hi janam dena. And mausi… I love you. Always.
