September in Bangkok is a new addition to Black Rock @september_blackrock , and it leans into modern Thai street food with a vibrant energy. We tried a mix of dishes across the menu, starting with the Saigon rolls and empanadas added a lighter contrast—crisp, fresh, and easy to eat between richer bites, then the basil fried rice stood out for its aroma and wok flavor, simple but satisfying in that comforting way, followed by red curry, which was creamy, well-balanced, and had a gentle heat that builds without overpowering. The tiger prawns were fresh and nicely cooked, with a clean flavor that worked well with the rest of the meal. The lemongrass chicken with fried rice had a strong herbal note that really came through, making it one of the more distinctive dishes on the table. To finish, the mango with sticky rice was soft, sweet, and comforting, that quietly ties everything together. The passion fruit mojito was also a highlight, bright, tropical, and refreshing without being too sweet 🍹 Overall, it felt like a thoughtful mix of familiar Thai flavors with a slightly modern, approachable touch, and a solid new spot for the area. #thaifood #blackrockct #ctfoodie
