Share this with your friend who always says ‘just one bite’ 😂 Methi Thepla, Gujarati Food, Indian Recipes, Thepla Recipe, Home cooked, Food Reel, Home Chef, Easy Recipes, Viral Reel, Food Lover, Cooking Reel, Foodstagram, Healthy Indian Food Ingredients: Whole wheat flour (atta) – 2 ½ cups Fresh fenugreek leaves (methi) – 1 bunch (finely chopped) Coriander leaves - ½ cup (finely chopped) Besan (gram flour) – 3 tbsp (optional but adds softness) Curd (dahi) – 3 tbsp (optional, for softness) Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp Green chillies paste - 1 tbsp (can adjust it according to your taste) Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp Red chilli powder – 1 tsp Coriander powder – 1 tsp Cumin powder – 1 tsp Ajwain (carom seeds) – ½ tsp Sesame seeds – 1 tbsp (optional) Salt – to taste Ghee – 2 tbsp (for dough) + more for roasting 🫓 Method: 1. Prep the methi: Wash and finely chop methi leaves. 2. Make the dough: In a large bowl, add wheat flour, besan, methi leaves, coriander leaves, curd, spices, Ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste, salt, sesame seeds, and 1 tbsp ghee. Mix everything well. Add water gradually and knead into a soft, smooth dough. 3. Rest: Cover and let it rest for 10–15 minutes. 4. Roll: Divide into equal balls. Dust with flour and roll each into a thin round (like roti). 5. Cook: Heat a tawa. Place one thepla on it. When bubbles appear, flip. Apply a few drops of oil on both sides and cook until golden brown spots appear. 6. Serve hot: Serve with curd, pickle, or masala chai ☕
