“Your childhood dream is not random.” This has been a belief I have carried with me for years, and speaking about it on the TEDx stage felt incredibly personal. What made the moment magical was what happened after the talk. Many students came up and said, “This felt like my story.” Some spoke about dreams they had quietly carried since childhood but never fully trusted. Even more special was hearing fellow speakers—people who have already built remarkable careers—say that they related to the same idea. It reminded me that no matter where we reach in life, there is often a thread that connects us back to the dreams we had when we were young. If sharing my journey helps even a few students understand their own path a little better, I will consider this experience truly worthwhile. Grateful for this beautiful evening at TEDxJNU.
