Cherry blossoms fall the same way everywhere. But they feel different in Hirosaki. Somewhere between the crowds and the confetti of falling petals, we stumbled into a small performance by local artists — and everything just... stopped. The shamisen cut right through the noise, and for a moment it felt less like we were tourists with cameras and more like we'd been quietly invited into something sacred. Japan has this way of ambushing you with beauty when you're not looking for it. This was one of those moments. No itinerary. No plan. Just us standing there, completely undone by it.
