Kedarnath is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language romantic disaster film directed by Abhishek Kapoor. It follows Mandakini "Mukku", a Hindu Brahmin girl and daughter of a priest, who falls in love with Mansoor, a Muslim porter working near the & Kedarnath Temple in Uttarakhand. Their inter-faith romance faces family opposition and societal barriers as they grow closer during her pilgrimage trek. The story takes a tragic turn when the 2013 Uttarakhand floods devastate the Himalayan region. Mukku and her father seek refuge in the temple while Mansoor risks his life to rescue them. The flood becomes the ultimate test of their love and faith, blending personal sacrifice with nature's fury. The film stars & Sushant Singh Rajput and & Sara Ali Khan in her debut role. It received mixed reviews for its performances and visuals but was noted for its emotional climax and scenic portrayal of the Himalayas.
