Indian climber Priyanka Mangesh Mohite successfully summited Mount Manaslu (8,163m) on 23 september, 2025 morning at 9:15 a.m., together with her guide Ang Dawa Sherpa. Confirming the achievement, Nivesh Karki, Executive Director at Pioneer Adventure Pvt. Ltd., said, “She reached the summit of the world’s eighth-highest peak today with our company. With this climb, she has now stood atop six of the 14 peaks above 8,000 meters.” Mohite began her 8,000-meter journey with Mount Everest (Sagarmatha) in 2014. Since then, she has climbed Mount Everest, Annapurna I, Lhotse, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, and now Manaslu.
