My husband giving a head massage to my dad — and no, this isn’t a joke. This is what breaking Jamai stereotypes looks like. He’s been staying at my mom’s house since I delivered. Yes, people talked. But we didn’t care. Not me, not my parents, and definitely not him. He didn’t come here because he had no option. He came because he didn’t want to miss even a moment with our baby. He supported me, helped my parents, became a friend to my brother and bhabhi, and a loving grandson to my dadi. We all lived under one roof — like a true family. Because love, care, and connection matter more than labels. This is not unusual. This is what being present looks like. This is what real men do. Tag that one man who breaks stereotypes with love.
