For our first anniversary, he promised me "The most special surprise ever." ✨ Cut two: We went for a Sri Lankan Village experience followed by climbing 1200 Steep steps slipping, dragging, and nearly collapsing, at Sigiriya Rock in 35°C heat only to see 4 bricks in the name of a "Palace" 🙃 BUT just when I was sweating, dying, questioning my marriage... I looked around and saw the most breathtaking view: My lover, the entire city behind him, endless greenery, and the wind making it all feel magical.🥺 AND to compensate for the cardio session he tricked me into, he'd booked a dreamy 5-star property with a romantic candlelight dinner. But guess what? We were so dead by then that the only thing we romanced was the bed. So we cut the cake in our Pjs, cuddled, and passed out like two retired athletes.🤧 Moral: When your "traveller" husband plans the anniversary itinerary, prepare for surprises, adventures, and stories you'll laugh about forever.🤣 Ps- The 2nd last photo is my reaction to "We're climbing the Sigiriya today Honey"
