⁨ ⁨ കേരളത്തിലെ ഹൈന്ദവ ആചാരങ്ങളിൽ ഏറ്റവും പ്രൗഢിയേറിയ ഒന്നാണ് ഏറ്റുമാനൂർ മഹാദേവ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ ഏഴരപ്പൊന്നാന ദർശനം. ഐതിഹ്യപ്രകാരം ഈ എട്ടു പൊന്നാനകൾ അഷ്ടദിഗ്ഗജങ്ങളെ (എട്ടു ദിക്കുകളെയും കാക്കുന്ന ആനകൾ) പ്രതിനിധീകരിക്കുന്നു. ഐരാവതം, പുണ്ഡീരകം, കൗമുദം, അഞ്ജന, പുഷ്പദന്തം, സുപ്രദീകം, സാർവഭൗമൻ, വാമനൻ എന്നിവരാണവർ. ഇതിൽ ‘വാമനൻ’ വലിപ്പത്തിൽ ചെറുതായതിനാലാണ് ‘അരപ്പൊന്നാന’ എന്ന് വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്. വടക്കുംകൂർ രാജ്യം പിടിച്ചടക്കുന്നതിനിടെ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന് സംഭവിച്ച നാശനഷ്ടങ്ങൾക്ക് പരിഹാരമായാണ് തിരുവിതാംകൂർ മഹാരാജാവ് അനിഴം തിരുനാൾ മാർത്താണ്ഡവർമ്മ ഈ പൊന്നാനകളെ നടയ്ക്കുവെച്ചത്. കുംഭമാസത്തിലെ ഉത്സവത്തിനിടയിൽ എട്ടാം വിളക്ക് നാളിലാണ് (രോഹിണി നക്ഷത്രം) ഈ ദർശനം നടക്കുന്നത്. അർദ്ധരാത്രി 12 മണിക്ക് ആസ്ഥാന മണ്ഡപത്തിൽ ഭഗവാൻ ശരഭമൂർത്തിയായി എഴുന്നള്ളുന്നു എന്നാണ് വിശ്വാസം. സകല ദേവന്മാരും സന്നിഹിതരാകുന്ന ഈ മുഹൂർത്തത്തിൽ പൊന്നാനകളെ ദർശിക്കുന്നത് സർവ്വൈശ്വര്യദായകമാണ്. ഏറ്റുമാനൂരപ്പന്റെ ഏഴരപൊന്നാന ❤️ #kerala #ettumanoor #temple #reelsfeelit #culture⁩⁩
