In 2025, Season 2 returns with bigger scale and hotter themes like AI crimes, global smuggling, and betrayal within the system. The result? A mixed bag. It opens strong: a R&AW officer is murdered in Delhi and an AI expert vanishes in Budapest. Himmat Singh (Kay Kay Menon) starts chasing a mysterious villain called “Collector” and uncovers a web of cybercrime and corruption. But the plot tries to juggle too much - from data leaks to personal betrayals - and loses the tight storytelling Season 1 mastered. Still, Kay Kay Menon shines. Calm, commanding, and deeply watchable, he anchors every scene. But supporting characters like Karan Tacker and Saiyami Kher feel underused. Even the villain “Collector” lacks depth, never becoming as chilling as promised. Where it truly wins is style: shot in Vienna, Budapest, Nepal, and India - it looks stunning. The action is clean and grounded. The world feels real. It’s a technical upgrade from Season 1. But the emotional punch? Missing. Unlike the Season 1 and 1.5 of SPECIAL OPS, this season rarely tugs at your heart. By the finale, it ties up its threads neatly - but without much thrill or payoff.
