But all good things take time 🫰🏻🥰 Getting this 70 plus year old cottage ready with the Singha Family of Kotgarh has been grounding and wholesome in so so many ways. The places and people that make me feel warm and at home, invariably are from Himachal. We welcome our first guests tomorrow, and it's a feeling I can't really describe in words. This mud home cottage was used for decades for apple grading. The wooden floors stained with apple juice and pulp. The corridor, raw deodar wood.. If I had a way, I d preserve those too.. Cosy wooden and mud rooms, that are now open for you to explore this side of Himachal Pradesh, in it's true-est most authentic manner. Meals cooked by the warmest hosts, delicious pahadi homely khaana, cooked in homemade ghee, homemade pickles. You ll have enough company if you ever find yourself getting bored, with 2 cats, a 2 yr old toddler who loves to sing and talk all day and Chiggles. We are a 2.5hour drive ahead of Shimla, in Thanedar. The drive from Shimla to Thanedar via Narkanda is picturesque and breath taking.. We can't wait to host you 🌲♥️.
