17/12/2022 📍Darjeeling! Let me share a small detail of my life with you tonight, last year I was going through a depressing period, even I had to take sleeping pills for the nights were too heavy so I was looking for an escape. So I decided to go somewhere far away from the mainland, far away from the people who are familiar to me. The decision was pretty abrupt, I was watching some reels and I was like, okay now I have to go to Darjeeling, like right now!! And the next thing I remember is I am on a train to NJP, Oh god, I can still feel the adrenalin rush. I boarded the station, booked a cab and then I was unstoppable. In just a day, mamma's little princess who didn't know how to even cross the road suddenly grew so tall and big, she was looking after herself in a strange place, amidst strange people. I explored so many beautiful things and in between that, I forgot who I was. I had no identity & I could be anyone that I want. For the first time, my blushes were real and I felt like I am alive, truly. And then I went to #gangamaiya, I sat there and cried, cried my heart out. The place was in ruins, but the ruins were so beautiful. Like man gave up their faith in that place and abandoned it but nature? Like a mother, she embraced it. The stairs were broken but life blossomed from it, the restore that was once burned was the home of plenty, the wetland still carried life and my heart bled. The thing I realised there is doesn't matter how broken you are, you are still worthy of love. Many people didn't go there as they aren't aware of the beauty it is hidden from the eyes of plenty so their is no society and cruelty, it's only you and mother nature. There was the peace I was looking for and got. And you know people say you should never bring anything from the places you go, I brought a flower laying on the ground with the hope of revisiting the place again and again.
