For the last 10 years, I’ve spoken on countless stages. From keynote sessions to leadership events, from boardrooms to packed auditoriums, I’ve always walked onto the stage alone. But this time was different. At JITO Skillathon Pune, for the very first time in my journey, my father accompanied me. And during the felicitation ceremony, something happened that I will probably remember for the rest of my life… Instead of receiving the honour myself, I stood aside and watched my father receive it on my behalf. That moment meant more to me than the stage, the spotlight, or even the applause. Because behind every achievement people see today, there are years of silent sacrifices made by parents that nobody notices. The late nights. The support during uncertain times. The belief when results were invisible. The patience through every risk, failure, and difficult phase. We often celebrate success publicly. But the foundation of that success is usually built privately at home. Standing there and watching my father being honoured felt like life coming full circle. Grateful to JITO Pune, the organisers, fellow speakers, and every participant who made this experience truly special. And deeply grateful to my father for being there long before the achievements, the stages, the recognition, and the applause ever arrived. Some moments are not just achievements.
