Its ports handled 27% of the country’s total cargo and 45% of container cargo in FY25. Fundamental view: Strong Adani Ports looks fundamentally strong. Sales growth: 27% Profit growth: 15% ROE: 16% OPM: 59% Promoter holding: 68% PEG: 1.19 The company also reported FY26 revenue growth of 25% to ₹38,736 crore, with EBITDA up 20% to ₹22,851 crore, and handled more than 500 MMT cargo in a year for the first time. Technical view: Strong but slightly stretched. Price is above both 50 DMA and 200 DMA. But after such a sharp move, it may consolidate. A fresh breakout above ₹1,850–₹1,900 can continue momentum. Growth - The latest Argentina LNG contract is positive because it marks Adani Ports’ entry into South America and involves a 10-year marine services contract with an estimated investment commitment of around $70 million. Option 1: Long-term investor Hold full quantity. Option 2: Conservative portfolio approach Book 20%–25% quantity and hold the rest for long-term compounding.
