Happiest birthday to my mom, the one I wasn’t born to, yet the one who chose me as her own from the very beginning. You’ve taken care of me in ways only a mother does. On the days I come home exhausted after shoots, you welcome me with warm smiles, comforting food, and so much love. You always ask if I need a cup of coffee after work- something only my own mother used to do. That one question means more than you know. No matter what anyone said, you always stood by my wishes and believed in my dreams. You take care of my babies as if they are your own, cooking their favourite food even when I say a strict no-because your love never listens to rules. Watching the way you care for papa with such dedication and tenderness makes me realise how truly selfless you are. Kind, loving, spiritual, helpful, and endlessly giving - these words still fall short of who you are.
