📍Glimpses of Mana Village in Uttarakhand 🏔️ Where mythology meets the mountains. Mana – that village of India, where even the winds whisper stories of the Mahabharata. Mana Village is the First Indian village on the Indo-Tibetan border, located in Uttarakhand, about 3 km from Badrinath. Situated at an altitude of over 3,200 meters, this Himalayan hamlet is rich in mythology, natural beauty, and spiritual energy. It’s believed that the Pandavas passed through here on their journey to heaven, adding immense mythological significance to the village. 1. Ghantakaran Mahadev Temple • Dedicated to Ghantakarna, a fierce form of Lord Shiva and a guardian deity. • Locals believe that ringing the bells here removes fear and blesses one with strength and courage. • Surrounded by serene nature and bells hanging all around, it’s a spiritually charged experience. 2. Ganesh Gufa (Cave) • This is where Lord Ganesha is believed to have penned down the Mahabharata as sage Ved Vyas dictated it. • A small cave with idols and spiritual carvings, it exudes a mystical energy. • The stillness inside the cave brings peace and reflection. 3. Saraswati River • A rare place where the mythical Saraswati River is said to emerge briefly before disappearing underground. • The forceful flow of the river under a stone bridge called Bhim Pul is a sight to behold. • It is believed that Bhim (of the Pandavas) placed this massive rock for Draupadi to cross the river. 4. Ved Vyas Gufa • A sacred cave where Ved Vyas is said to have composed the Vedas, Puranas, and Mahabharata. • The ambiance inside is meditative, filled with ancient echoes of India’s oral traditions. #ManaVillage #LastVillageOfIndia #UttarakhandDiaries #BadrinathToMana #MysticHimalayas #HiddenGemsOfIndia #TravelReelsIndia #IncredibleIndia #WanderlustIndia #ReelKaroFeelKaro #ReelTravelDiaries #MountainVibes #JourneyThroughLegends #DivineDestinations #PeacefulPlaces #MythicalVibes #SoulfulTravel
