Gonzo in Vasant Vihar is a trendy Pan Asian spot that promises a mix of vibrant ambiance, bold flavors, and a lively dining experience. Located in the bustling Basant Lok Market, it boasts warm lighting, stylish decor, and an upbeat vibe that makes it a great place for both casual meetups and fun night-outs. Our dining experience began with a warm and welcoming gesture from the restaurant, as we were first presented with their signature Cucumber Salad. This refreshing dish was an absolute revelation crisp, cool cucumbers drenched in a special sauce that was both tangy and slightly sweet, offering a burst of flavor with every bite. It was the perfect start to what would turn out to be an unforgettable meal. For the main course, we ordered the Prawns Bao and the Hot Pot Chicken Thai Curry. The bao was light and soft, with a decent filling of tender prawns, though it didn’t quite stand out as much as the other dishes. However, the Thai Curry was a completely different story, it was beyond amazing. Rich, velvety, and bursting with the complexity of Thai spices, the curry provided the perfect balance of heat and creaminess. The chicken was cooked to perfection, soaking up all the wonderful flavors, and each spoonful was an explosion of delight.
